The Social text messenger giant is back with its new update with a recovery of the previous outcry from its users. One month ago, the company developers introduced a Snapchat lookalike update on WhatsApp which was not much enjoyed by the community. However, this status update still is a part of WhatsApp. But the developers has put the old WhatsApp text status feature back after receiving a lot of criticism last month.
For Beta users, Beta Update 2.17.95 is available, But the regular user's have to wait till the version is released worldwide. For beta users, you will see the old status feature by pressing the three dot icon on the top right edge. Head to Settings, and in the About and phone number section, you will see the old status option back. It comes with the old default options of 'Available,' 'Busy,' 'At school,' 'At the Movies,' etc, and more importantly, does not disappear in 24 hours.
The revival of text status doesn't mean that the new SnapChat lookalike will be drawn back or will not be the part of WhatsApp upcoming versions. Both the statuses will be available in newer versions.Let's hope what the community demands and what are views of people with this feature back on the rail.
